Yoga & Music: Kim Beaver
ACCOMPANIED BY MICHAEL CHIN ON SITAR
Kim teaches an eclectic blend of yoga. Her style is to assist people to tune in to their own rhythm and explore their yoga for restoring flow with body, breath and mind.
Kim Beaver is the owner of Yoga West at Parramatta and has been practicing yoga for 20 years. Together with a group of skilled teachers she wishes to bring the joy, health benefits and inner spark that yoga offers. Kim was first inspired to become a teacher of yoga to share the practice with her daughter and studied Radiant Child Yoga with Shakta Kaur Khalsa. This passion continued and she completed her 1st Yoga Teacher training with Lifesource Yoga – Christina Brown, and Anatomy & Physiology with Simon Borg Olivier. In 2010 Kim completed her Level 2 training with Yoga Coach - Mark Breadner. Bringing a whole new level of yoga understanding to the forefront includes embracing all styles of yoga and designing personalised practices to suit individuals.
ABOUT YOGA & MUSIC
Start your day with a peaceful mind and build a strong and healthy body. It's free!
There are six classes to choose from across the week, offering a range of styles and selection of teachers from across Western Sydney, giving you the opportunity to have a go and find a style and teacher that works for you.
All levels are catered for.
All you have to do is commit to turning up at 7am to Town Hall Square. Classes will be held outdoors unless the weather is inclement and then we are able to move inside. Bring your own mat if you can.
Anyone can start a yoga practice, even if you don't feel like you are very flexible or very strong. These things will improve the longer you practice. Ultimately one of the most liberating things about yoga is letting go of the ego and accepting that no one is better than anyone else. Everyone is just doing their best on any given day.
Each class will be accompanied by live music.
