DJ Tigerstyle has been DJing since 1998. He started at the age of eighteen, playing hip-hop and drum & bass at house parties before soon breaking into the Turntablist scene. These days he uses three turntables and two mixers to perform live tracks, scratch routines and club sets. He describes his style as funky, original and futuristic, creating a vibe for the crowd to be entertained both musically and visually.
DJ Tigerstyle’s main performer influences are Q-bert, D-styles and A-trak. His musical influences include artists such as Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Madlib and Prefuse 73. In 2003 he took out three major world titles – DMC Battle for Supremacy, Allies All-star Beatdown and ITF Advancement Class.
DJ Tigerstyle performs in Mother India 21st Century Remix at the Courtyard, Riverside Theatres on November 2, 3, 4 at 9pm and November 5 at 10.15pm
