Deepavali Fair
Deepavali Fair, the annual Hindu festival of the lights, is set to transform Parramatta Stadium on Sunday 30th October as one of Sydney’s biggest and best South Asian cultural celebrations.
With dozens of delicious food and exotic handicrafts stalls, music and community entertainment, the Fair culminates in the Hindu ritual of the burning of the giant raavan effigy (Demon King) and finale fireworks. A great day for all the family. Sydney’s Hindu, Jain and Sikh communities welcome everyone to this great annual event.
The Parramasala festival warmly welcomes the 2011 Deepavali Fair as an associated part of its program.
